Skoda Enyaq Facelift: A Family Affair

The Czech have updated its bestseller Skoda Enyaq. The facelift is giving the electric SUV a fresh look to align with the new brand identity.

The Czech have updated its bestseller Skoda Enyaq. The facelift is giving the electric SUV a fresh look to align with the brand’s evolving family design language.

New Face, New Identity

Whether the facelifted Enyaq’s new front end is an improvement over its predecessor is up for debate among Skoda enthusiasts. What’s certain is that the refreshed model adopts the brand’s “Tech-Deck-Face” design philosophy.

Featuring lowered LED headlights and a continuous light band across the grille, this design will soon become a hallmark of Skoda’s lineup. While the name might sound a bit abstract, the updated front fascia does deliver a small boost in aerodynamics, which translates into a few extra kilometers of range between charges.

The facelifted 2025 Skoda Enyaq offers Familiar Performance Options

Mechanically, the Enyaq remains largely unchanged, continuing to share its platform with the Audi Q4 and VW ID.4/ID.5. Buyers still have two battery sizes and three powertrain options to choose from:

Enyaq 60: 63 kWh battery, 150 kW / 204 PS, rear-wheel drive, up to 440 km range.

Enyaq 85: 85 kWh battery, 210 kW / 286 PS, rear-wheel drive, up to 590 km range.

Enyaq 85x: 85 kWh battery, 210 kW / 286 PS, all-wheel drive, up to 550 km range.

The Enyaq 60 tops out at 160 km/h, while the more powerful versions allow for speeds of up to 180 km/h. Charging speeds have improved slightly, with the 85 kWh models now capable of 175 kW fast charging, bringing the battery from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes.

The Enyaq 60, meanwhile, charges at 165 kW. While respectable, these speeds lag behind competitors with 800-volt systems, which charge even faster.

SUV or Coupé – You Decide

Both the SUV and Coupé versions are available with the same powertrain options, ensuring versatility across the lineup. The Enyaq now comes standard with a five-inch digital driver display and a 13-inch central touchscreen.

Convenience features like heated seats, heated steering wheel, and keyless entry are optional. Additionally, every model now includes three-zone climate control and an adaptive cruise control system.

A Better Everyday Companion

Or as the CEO Klaus Zellmer highlights in his speech during the premiere:

Our new Modern Solid design language, a more comprehensive standard equipment list, and updated digital features make the Enyaq an even better companion for everyday life.

Klaus Zellmer

With its refreshed design and tech upgrades, the Enyaq remains a strong contender in the electric SUV segment, catering to both practicality-focused families and tech-savvy drivers alike.
