Zeekr 7X: Designed with Families in Mind

Launching next year, the Zeekr 7X is taking aim squarely at competitors like the Tesla Model Y.

Zeekr is gearing up to challenge established players in Europe with its 7X electric crossover. Launching next year, the 7X is taking aim squarely at competitors like the Tesla Model Y.

Stylish and Spacious

The Zeekr 7X makes a strong first impression with its sleek design. Measuring 4.83 meters in length, it features standout elements like a distinctive black headlight trim reminiscent of Disney’s Beagle Boys and a striking LED light strip across the rear. Inside, the Geely-owned brand delivers the high-quality and attractive interiors that Zeekr is becoming known for.

Thanks to the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA) platform and its generous 2.93-meter wheelbase, the 7X provides ample room for up to five passengers. The cabin boasts a 16-inch central display, over 30 storage compartments, and a cargo capacity of up to 616 liters.

Power and Efficiency

The Zeekr 7X doesn’t just look good – it packs impressive power. The top-tier all-wheel-drive model delivers 470 kW (639 PS), propelling the nearly 2.4-ton crossover from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds. To keep this performance sustainable, Zeekr has incorporated cutting-edge silicon-carbide electric motors.

Charging is another area where the 7X shines. Its 800-volt system supports ultra-fast charging, with the smaller 75 kWh battery pack recharging from 10 to 80 percent in just over 10 minutes at a maximum rate of 480 kW.

Range Options for All Needs with the Zeekr 7X

The 7X offers two battery options: a 75 kWh pack, which provides a range of over 600 kilometers, and a larger 100 kWh pack with nickel-manganese-cobalt technology.

The latter is optimized for long-range driving, promising nearly 800 kilometers under the city-focused Chinese CLTC cycle and over 650 kilometers in the WLTP cycle.

Pricing and Market Entry

The entry-level rear-wheel-drive model, featuring a 310 kW (421 PS) motor, is expected to start at around €53,000 in Europe. The fully loaded all-wheel-drive version with the larger battery, air suspension, and added features will likely top out at €63,000. Following its initial launch in China this fall, the 7X will make its way to Europe, beginning with deliveries in the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden by the second quarter of 2025. Other European markets will follow soon after.

With its compelling mix of design, performance, and practicality, the Zeekr 7X is poised to make a notable entrance into the European EV market, offering families an attractive alternative to more established competitors.
